NEWS: US Labor Secretary States Child Care is “One of the biggest underlying issues in this country that we still have to address”

On February 4, 2022 Labor Secretary Marty Walsh joined Jim Kramer on CNBC to discuss the January jobs report.
During the interview, he discussed critical issues that were holding businesses back from a workforce perspective. Here’s what Marty had to say:
“One of the biggest underlying issues here in this country we still need to address is Child Care. That is universally across the board getting more women, more families participating in the workforce. That’s one of the biggest issues. The second, is fear of the [COVID] virus.”
